Board of Education

Justina Nadolson

Justina Nadolson graduated from Bethesda Christian High School in Brownsburg, Indiana. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University with a double major in Business Management and Personnel/Human Resources. After a 17 year career, she retired as a Vice President of Primedia Inc., a publishing company, and now owns and operates several Newark-Granville area businesses with her husband Ethan.

She and her husband live in Granville and have four children: Katrina Faulkner and Adam Nadolson, both Granville Christian Academy graduates; Kathryn Nadolson, a graduate of Licking County Christian; and Elizabeth Nadolson who currently attends Granville Christian Academy. The family is also a member of Spring Hills Baptist Church where Justina served for years in an advisory capacity to the Mom-2-Mom group, and she and Ethan have been instructors at Spring Hills University.

Justina has previously served on the Board of Directors for Heartbeats of Licking County; Board of Directors for the Direct Marketing Association of Indiana; and the Board of Directors for the UTA industry association where she received the Lifetime Achievement Award. She is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma national honorary society for business and taught life skills classes for Junior Achievement. Her family is her passion and she enjoys movies, crafting, reading, music, and traveling.

Dan Keiser

Dan Keiser graduated from Temple Christian High School before moving on to graduate from Kent State with a five-year professional degree in Architecture. He is the Founder and Principal Architect of Keiser Design Group, which focuses on residential, commercial, and mission-minded projects. He is also a former teacher, having taught high school Architecture at Gahanna Lincoln, and remaining on the Advisory Committee since then.
Dan and his wife Renee have been Granville Christian Academy parents for 15 years. He has coached various sports at Granville Christian Academy; he is a former Granville Christian Academy Boosters President; and was an integral part of the Strategic Planning Advisory Committee that reviewed the first strategic plan written by the Board and Adminstration in 2015. Dan and his family attend "Five14 Church" in New Albany. He and Renee are involved in a small group there as well.

Julie Dickson

Julie obtained her BSN from Ohio State’s College of Nursing, and her Master’s degree from the University of California, San Francisco. She worked as a pediatric nurse practitioner for the Pediatric Anesthesia department at Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford. Since moving to Ohio, she has worked as a nursing consultant for several startup medical companies.

Julie and her husband Bill live in Granville, and they have two children who attended Granville Christian Academy, Lucy and Luke. Julie and her family have attended Spring Hills Baptist Church for 13 years. She has served in Journeyland, Awana, VBS, and the Host Team, and has volunteered in her children’s classrooms at Granville Schools over the years. She enjoys spending time with her family, sports, and cheering for everyone’s kids in their endeavors both in and out of the classroom.

Brad Pilkington

Brad obtained a B.A. in Music Education from Missouri Baptist University (then, “College”), St. Louis, Missouri, and an M.M. in Choral Conducting from Webster University, St. Louis, Missouri. He has served as full time Minister of Music/Worship Pastor at Webster Groves Baptist Church, Webster Groves, Missouri (1981-1985); Whitehall Baptist Church, Columbus, Ohio (1985-1993); and Spring Hills Baptist Church, Granville, Ohio (1993-present). He also teaches private music lessons, and previously served as an elder for Spring Hill Baptist Church (1993-2010).

Brad and his wife Paula live in Newark, and they have one son, Jack (10th grade), who is homeschooled while attending some classes at Granville Christian Academy and playing varsity soccer, basketball, and baseball. Brad and Paula have been members of Spring Hills Baptist Church for 24 years. Paula is actively involved with Brad in the worship ministry at the church, including directing the Kids Choir program. Brad and Paula also direct the Spring Hills Homeschool Choir. Brad was the first music teacher of Grace Haven Academy (which became Granville Christian Academy), when it was 5th and 7th grade only, and the following year, 5th-8th grade, the first year the school met at Spring Hills. Paula is also a former Granville Christian Academy music teacher.

Jason Stump

Jason has a Bachelor’s degree from Otterbein University. He retired from a career in software development and now owns and operates Denari Financial, which is a financial planning and advisory firm. Jason also serves on the Board of Directors for Living Water of Ohio and has served on various church committees and taught Sunday school electives. 
Jason is married to Rebecca, and they have lived in Granville since 2002. They have four children that attend Granville Christian Academy; Noah, Mahala, Zachary, and Jordan. The family has also been members of Spring Hills Baptist Church since 2005. He enjoys spending quality time with the family, traveling, reading, and tennis.

Mark Law

Mark has previously served on the Granville Christian Academy Board, Ohio Ophthalmological Society, and Licking County Medical Society, and most recently, appointed by Governor Kasich to the Commission on Minority Health.  
Mark has lived in the Newark-Granville area since 1992 and has been a member of Spring Hills Baptist Church since 1999. He currently resides in Granville with his wife, Mia, and three children.

Shari Swonger

Shari graduated from The Ohio State University in 1987 with a B.S. in Agriculture. After college, she began working for the Air Force then moved to the Department of Defense (DoD) at the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS), Columbus Ohio, where she has been working since 1987. Her career experience is in the areas of project management, Lean6-SixSigma process improvement, change management and training development/instructional design.
Shari is married to her husband Greg and they have lived in Granville since 1992. Granville is Shari’s childhood home, where she also graduated from Granville High School. The family has been active members of Spring Hills Baptist Church since 1995, where Shari currently serves on the Nominating Committee. Their two daughters, Audrey (GCA Class 2021) and Anna Kate (GCA Class 2027) have attended Granville Christian Academy since kindergarten.  Outside of her working hours, she enjoys being a mom, spending time with her husband and daughters, being out in nature especially hiking with her family (the Smoky Mountains is a family favorite), photography, home improvement/landscaping projects and growing in her faith.

Shari has a passion to see our next generation at Granville Christian Academy lead with a strong biblical foundation and a Christian worldview. She also has a passion for identifying situations in which she can share information to help others. Sharing information allows her to take advantage of every opportunity to encourage people. Her strong organizational and analytical skills compliment her desire to help others achieve their best.

Woody Rose

Woody graduated from Newark High School and Franklin University, where he was part of the electrical engineering program. Woody works for The Energy Cooperative as the Operation Manager of the Electric Division.  
Woody is a thankful believer in Jesus Christ, entrusting that the Bible is God’s Holy word. He considers himself a blessed man, married to Kathleen and a proud parent of three graduate Granville Christian Academy students. Woody and his family are attending members of Spring Hills Baptist Church.
