Granville Christian Academy is a Kindergarten through 12 th grade school with an enrollment of 271 students. GCA is fully chartered by the State of Ohio and is a member of ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International).
The State of Ohio requires a minimum of 21 credits for high school graduation. Granville Christian Academy stresses academic excellence and therefore requires that each student have credits above and beyond the state minimum. GCA currently requires a minimum of 24 credits to graduate. Students must also pass the Ninth Grade Proficiency Tests in writing, reading, math, citizenship and science. Effective 2007 Students must pass the Ohio Graduation Tests in writing, reading, math, social studies, and science.
Required credits consist of the following: 4 credits of English; 2 credits of Foreign Language (2credits of the same language); ½ credit of Health; 3 credits of Mathematics; ½ credit of Physical Education; 3 credits of Science (1 credit each of physical and biological science); 3 credits of Social Studies (1 credit each of American History and Government); 2 credits of Electives (½ credit must be Computer and Technology).

Weighted Courses: Honors English, Enriched Biology, and Enriched Chemistry. The weighted grade is 1.125 times the grades above.
GPA: Granville Christian Academy uses a 4.33 gpa scale.
Class rank: Due to the competitive nature of Granville Christian Academy we do not report class rank.
The average ACT score for the 2004-2005 school year was 23.957.
Approximately 95% of the students attending Granville Christian Academy choose to continue their education in a two or four-year institution after graduation.
