The choice to send your children to GCA is a wise one. As a parent I was concerned that if I sent my children to a secular school they would be taught things that do not line up with the Bible and with what my wife and I believe and hold dear.  It seemed proper to send them to a Christian school where staff and teachers have the same world view as we do.  It is our goal at GCA to compliment and support the biblical and God centered belief system of the Christian home.  Eph.6:4 tells us to not frustrate our children but to rather bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.  Pv.22:6 instructs us as parents to “Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.”  The influence that other adults have on our children should be consistent with our belief system.  Lk.6:40, “Every one when he is fully taught will be like his teacher.”  The influence of peers should also be positive and Christ-like.  Pv.13:20 “He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm.’  1Cor.15:13 “Do not be deceived, ‘Bad company ruins good morals’.”
GCA is an incredible school and may be the very best thing you can do for the future of your children.  If your children to not attend this school yet, I want to encourage you to check us out.  Call for a tour and information.

A few years ago my wife and I were visiting Walnut Creek when I spotted a finial in one of their numerous flea markets. For some reason I found the finial quite appealing. It’s unique shape and obvious years of wear reminded me how God has crafted and shaped us into the individuals we are today. So I decided I was going to purchase the finial and begin collecting them for my future principal’s office. Several weeks following that purchase my wife informed me that Hobby Lobby was having a sale on hundreds of finials. The air slowly leaked out of my bubble, but I continued to collect them and several now sit on the shelves in my office at Granville Christian Academy. Yes, the display contains many that were purchased “off the shelf” at a store, but several were accepted as gifts from friends who were aware of my collection. They remind me today of the 264 students who call GCA their school. They remind of the many staff members who work with these students every day. And they remind me of the supportive families and friends who lift GCA to our Lord and Savior every single day.
“Every one an individual….every one unique…every one created and loved by God…”
